Cherry and Peach Kebabs with Cinnamon Glaze

Fresh grilled fruit makes a great summer dessert.

  • 8 (10”) bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 20 minutes
  • 4 ripe but firm peaches, cut into eighths
  • 32 cherries, pitted
  • ÂĽ cup butter, melted
  • ÂĽ cup honey
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ÂĽ tsp. salt


  1. Heat gas grill to medium heat, or heat charcoal until ashes are white.

  2. Thread peach, 2 cherries, peach, 2 cherries, peach, 2 cherries and peach onto each skewer. In a bowl, whisk together butter, honey, cinnamon, vanilla and salt; set aside.

  3. Oil grill grate; place kebabs on grill. Cook, turning occasionally 6-10 minutes until grill marked and slightly tender. Brush with honey cinnamon mixture. Serve.

  4. Refrigerate leftovers.
