Pumpkin Pie

Making this iconic dessert recipe is as easy as pie!




  • 1 (2 lb.) pie pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • â…› tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 unbaked pie crust, 9” diameter


  1. Preheat oven to 400° Cut pumpkin in half and remove seeds. Place face down on rimmed cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour.

  2. After removing pumpkin from oven, remove flesh and place in blender. Blend until smooth, and strain off excess water into a paper towel.

  3. Reset oven to 425°

  4. Combine eggs, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice, salt and cloves in a large bowl and mix until combined.

  5. Fit pie crust into a 9” pie dish; pour pumpkin mixture into the crust.

  6. Place pie on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake until filling is set, about 35-40 minutes.
